GOT TO LOVE BRAZIL!
Brazilian sneaker blog SneakersBR has hooked up with Nike to celebrate the new version of their website. They worked on a Dunk Pack, consisting of 5 colorways of the iconic sneaker, each representing a region of their home country.
Look out for the release beginning of the pack on September 8th.
A must get and a must have.
The Nike Sportswear Air Force 1 Bespoke offering has largely been reserved for those with media ties and deep pockets. With a price-tag nearing $900 USD a pair, it comes as no surprise the rarity of the experience. A man who knows a thing or two about sneakers, Gary Warnett of Crooked Tongues had the opportunity to make his mark. Offering his experience through some carefully chosen words, his final piece was more a marriage of aesthetics rather than choosing some underlying “meaningful theme” to explain his choice. His full explanation can be seen over at Crooked Tongues.
The full collection is revealed! Take a look at the Jay-z x Nike “All Black Everything” collection.
Staten Island x Emilio Sparks x Nike 1Love
Following is the latest video from Nike Sportswear’s “1 Love,” an ongoing Nike Sportswear experience created to celebrate the AF1 and hoops culture throughout NYC’s five boroughs. This short features Emilio Sparks of Staten Island: host of the longest running show on WSIA in New York, The Emilio Sparks Experience, and known to some by his nickname, the “Charlie Rose of Hip Hop”.
We should have seen this coming. “ALL BLACK EVERYTHING!”
As part of the inaugural World Basketball Festival – brought together by Converse, the Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball – JAY-Z will take the stage at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on tonight [Thursday August 12, 2010], following an on-court showcase featuring finalists for the 2010 USA Basketball World Championship Team.
In addition to his performance, JAY-Z has joined forces with Nike to create an iconic collection of Air Force Ones – the All Black Everything collection inspired by the World Basketball Festival. Nike has donated the shoes to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation who in turn have linked up with eBay on a charity auction that begins on August 12th at www.ebay.com/jayznikewbf. There are a total of five different designs, only two pairs being made of each design. Of course Jay will get his pair, leaving only one pair for the masses, so if you plan on bidding, get ready to spend heavy!
