Eminem’s Recovery moved 741,000 units according to Billboard. This will be his 6th straight #1 album.
“Recovery’s” debut week sales surpasses the first week of Eminem’s last set, “Relapse,” which began at No. 1 in 2009 with 608,000. It also beats the opening of 2005’s “Curtain Call: The Hits” which entered at No. 1 with 441,000 in 2005.
Eminem’s new album also wows digitally, as downloads made up 255,000 of its first week. That’s the second-biggest digital week for an album in history. Only Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends” notched a larger frame, when it debuted with 288,000 downloads in the summer of 2008.
Today marks a year for when music and the world lost its most precious talent. Michael Jackson sadly passed away last year on this very day, which left many in a state of shock and sadness. As time goes on, we as fans will always continue to live his legacy only hoping that the newer generations set to come will understand what a great talent Michael Jackson really was. His memory and great music will always live on amongst his fans, making MJ forever, A King Of Oneself. RIP MJ. 
On July 16th 1971, a legend was born. Tupac Amaru Shakur was a true King every time he touched the mic. Spitting more than lyrics, this man is known for talking straight knowledge and enlighting the masses with his words and messages. From rapping to acting, Tupac did it all and did it very well. He is truly missed in a time where motivation is needed. On what would be his 39th Birthday, we should remember the great impact he had on this industry and the lives of others. RIP Tupac, your words will always live on amongst us, your fans.

FIFA just got stylish. This is amazing. Below is a little insight to the details of this unique piece from LV.
Ahead of 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, which kicks off on 11th June, Louis Vuitton today unveiled the travel case it has created to hold football’s greatest prize, the FIFA World Cup Trophy.
Commissioned by FIFA, the special order case, handmade by a single master craftsman in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop near Paris, has been meticulously designed to accommodate the celebrated Trophy, which measures 36 cm in height, weighs 6.175 kg and is made of solid 18-carat gold with a base of semi-precious malachite. Covered in Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas, the travel case is fitted with the company’s signature brass lock and corners, and has a dark brown lining that complements the Trophy’s rich gold.
Like all Louis Vuitton special orders, the FIFA World Cup Trophy case was made at the company’s original workshop in Asnières, which opened in 1859. The case opens at the front and at the top to allow the Trophy to be removed easily when, at the final on 11th July in Johannesburg, watched by many millions of people across the globe, it will be presented.

Pointer and Comme des Garcons have worked on a collaborative footwear collection for Fall/Winter 2010. The collection consists of the Pointer Tanju, Barajas II and Angus. Both the mid top sneakers and the loafers come in several colorways, while keeping overall a very classic and clean look. What we like about this collaboration is that you can expect good pricing on the end product. Look out for a release later this year.

Medicom jumps on the Iron Man 2 bandwagon and presents their Kubrick Set for the movie. The set consists of overall 6 figures. Unfortunately it will only be released in November 2010.

Another great G-shock collaboration. Sussy x G-shock collaboration is a must have.
Check out the 30th anniversary Stussy G-Shock DW-6900. The watch comes in a shiny black colorway with all metal parts coming in metallic blue, matching the dial. The backlight of course features the Stussy logo, the watch strap features a special Stussy 30th anniversary logo and further details are engraved on the back of the watch case. The watch will be released in June at Stussy retailers and comes wrapped in a beautiful black box.

In an interesting collaboration, Canadian retailer Livestock has gotten together with Ferrari and Puma on a sneaker collaboration. The collaboration consists of overall 4 shoes in 4 different colorways.
“With Ferrari as inspiration, the colour palette was easy, Red, Black and Yellow. Classic Ferrari colours. For the interior of the shoe we used a leather insole and perforated pig skin for the lining. The footbed has a Livestock race track screened onto it with corners being named after things related to Ferrari, Livestock , F1, and Puma. With our branding covered on the insole and the lace locks, and Puma’s branding being in the classic spots, we decided that the Ferrari shield logo would fit perfect on the back of the shoe. One of the signature details of the suede is the perforated size marker on the tongue.
We decided this is the perfect place to pay homage to one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time, who also happens to be Canadian, Gilles Villeneuve, #27. When the day comes for Livestock and Puma team up and campaign a car in the Ferrari challenge, I hope to wear the number 27. To wrap up the motor sports theme we used all black soles and had them scored to take on the feel of a race tire and packaged the shoes in a helmet bag. This collection of shoes has been offered to select retailers around the world, Puma’s List dealers and is being produced in very limited numbers.
As always with almost all of the Puma List shoes, there will be one more colour way that is exclusive to the designing store, in this case it’s us. This final shoe is based on the Livestock X PUMA Honda S2000 race car that we won last years Improved Production2 championship with.
Keeping it clean and inline with the car’s colours the shoe is all white. The ferrari logo is not used on this one instead it is replace with the #46, our race number, picked in tribute to Valentino Rossi, the greatest motorcycle rider of all time.”
